A Longer Weekend

When all anticipated that there would be a huge jam on Friday night, I was in the office, waiting to be picked up & spending time to complete some extra tasks.

Woke up at 10 a.m. the next morning. As far as I was concerned, though I had really no mood to especially care much about the updates, it was not like any other Saturday though I was not in the city centre. The boyfriend has joined a BB group chat, Star Bersih or something. Updates were instant, live.

I thought of giving some own thoughts on this. But I am really not in the state to comment on this & I don't even want to click on any links to watch the videos. It already feels sad enough. Okay, period.

Witnessed an engagement ceremony today. Never attended one before.
Took a day leave for this. How nice to have Monday off. Though it's not that I suffer from Monday blue.

Congratulations on the new couple! May Love be the motivation of your marriage & may nothing stops you from keep loving each other. Nights, everyone~

A Day to Remember Always

Nah, I kind of set a rule to myself that I will not talk about relationship & love in my blog.
At least, minimising it to the max.
Well, I will discuss it in general. What I mean is my own love life.
So, I've given you a huge honour kay!

So, let's start with four years ago....
Nah! Crazy, it's a hell long time!
I'll just say four years ago, this day, I said yes to this person to be my guy.
We both took the day off to celebrate.
He took me to somewhere that I still don't know the area.
Where we could see the night view of KL.
Fetched me from work, drove me all the way from PJ to KL, then to don't know where.
& he acted like he took the wrong road & we were lost.
Then he drove into a dark road. Going up the hill & there wasn't even a street light at all.
When we reached, I told I needed to go to the washroom.
& he said we had to take a U turn to go down the hill.
He took the parking ticket & said to go out from the other side.
While inside, he saw a washroom & so he parked the car & asked me to go.
When I came out, he said, "Since we're here, let's go up & see what's up there."
Before the staircase, I told him, "You know, if I'm smart, I would think that you planned all these."
He ignored me & we started the long walk.
Actually not that long, just about 70 steps & we're there.
When we sat down & the menu were put on our table, he passed one to me first, then himself. I looked at him & just smiled. Then he said, "What? I can be romantic also okay!"

We had a big fight the night before.
We rarely fight these days, but when we do, I can't imagine what you're going to break next time. :p
Back to the dinner.
And so, I told him that he will only be extra sweet & romantic on three days every year.
Which are the anniversary, Valentine's & my birthday.
For that, I am grateful enough. Rarity is preciousness kay.
But he's good enough on normal days.

The only concern I have that we would run out of ideas of celebrating our anniversaries.
Of course, as every old couple would say, I believe, after a certain amount of years, you'll be grateful enough & all these won't matter so much anymore as long as you know you're always with each other.

Then, we went back & you found The Tourist DVD & you wanted to watch it.
And so after showering, we lied on the couch & the 1st 10 minutes, I fell asleep in your arm. & this morning, you were showing off your present to your mum. I'm glad you like it. If not, I swear I'll break you into halves! Haha~

And then, I spent the whole day in your living room sneezing & watching TV with you. & the first time you saw me driving without making so much noise. :p
Today was just simple & I feel happy enough.

Your mum seemed worried that I don't want to step into marriage life with you.
I know we'll turn out just fine.

Happy 4th anniversary, honey!

A Late Wish

It's the 3rd, kind of late, I know.
Well, I've been too laid back spending time at home.
Didn't even bother going online.
When I came back & finally browsed through everyone's blog about a new year, I got a bit excited.
I didn't really bother about starting a new year.
Starting to feel that new year is really nothing.
Maybe I didn't spend it with the right crowd.
Or I think I might have been too hard on myself on new year eve as I spent the countdown discussing a very big possible crisis in my church with Nian.
No new year resolution or whatever. Nothing I care too much this year except I wish I could be with my family all the time.
With the 4th anniversary coming up in about a week's time, I should really pressure myself to think of something sweet to do. Arrrghhh, the numbness.

Like Kung said, last year was a hell of a roller coaster.
& I feel it's way too far back from the present.
Like it has been ages yet it was last August that I just had my convocation.
The Viva that scared the hell out of me which made me think I wouldn't pass my thesis.
The last semester, the finals, & the jobs.
The patch up, the interviews & all the learnings about new stuffs in order to survive in the city. The series, the sitcoms, the crazy nights, it all feels so far away.
& now thinking back, it's all feeling so meaningless. I think this is what you called WASTED.
What's youth without all these trash, right?

Jane, I love your new year spirit & Kung, how I envy about you having new year resolutions!
Luckily, being easily inspired, I would like to propose my own resolutions.
1. Going somewhere overseas for a vacation with the boyfriend or family or altogether which is not very possible.
2. Have found a job that I truly love with good pay.
3. Spend a more meaningful year. (Don't ask me to define)
4. Be more like myself.

So, what the heck, everyone? It's New Year!!
Love yourself even more this year & love others like how you love yourself.
I know it's not possible but try harder!
Give seats to the elders, don't spit on the road & don't sit on seats for disabled & pregnant women!
Donate your clothes, smile more, do more charity & use less plastic bags!
Love life, everyone.

My One & Only 21st B'day

With no exception every year, mummy's b'day is one day before mine, of course. If I'm at home, we would be celebrating together..^^
It's 10 mins before my b'day ends. & I will take a long time to finish this post, as usual.
I speed up now.
Firstly, Happy Birthday to Ceek Chean, same day, but one year older! Haha~I know I know, stop emphasising right.
& thanks a lot for your thoughtful gift, I like it so much.
& I must thank one fella, if not, he'll be angry. Thank you for what you did yesterday, I'm really very happy & touched.

Next, thanks to everyone who wished me. Since it's my 21st b'day, I would list out everyone's name. (Never got out of lameness). Thank you so much to my dear family, dad who said I'm more matured (ehem, don't know why. But my dad is always right, you know.), mummy for your lovely present, brother who wanted to give me jogoya treat but I don't want because of my allergy to seafood, Carol who kept me waiting for her message. Thank you to Ooi Noo Yin, my dear silly BFF for her "shiny" gift, haha, my wacky housemates, mishel, zaza, tjc, amelia, ynuoh for the gifts & the nice cake! I was forced to model wearing my b'day gift. Laughed till our stomach bursted. Now, classmates: especially sydney who messed my hair & said I'm closer to my grave, pei ling who put effort to write in mandarin on the b'day card, elyse who's happy I'm finally same age as her, jane for the chocolate, eli who wanted to be the last to wish me, adeline who said she owes me a gift 1st & everyone else in the class, too many. Oh yea, & sal, thank you for the present too! Thanks to all of you for remembering my b'day but I don't know how come you guys do.

David, Lai jing wei, wen fei, Penny, Yutou, Peha, Mut cui, a number that I haven't asked who he/she is (seems like the person knows me quite well because he/she spelled my name correctly! But it doesn't ring a bell), ah go, ah meng, tian lai, liling, edison, ah chuin, I don't want to continue anymore. Just thanks a lot, guys.

Phew, I'm officially 21! It's not that scary to be an adult. I don't mind actually, old fashioned but true, age doesn't matter. Me is fery harpy! Just hope this year will be a much better year. Know God is taking care of me. (ceek chean, I feel so deeply because of your gift!)
My b'day wish is the same as last year, & the year before, & the year before. Just a simple thing I wish I can have for the rest of my life. Who said I'm not easily satisfied huh?

Live life, love life, peeps.

Happy Birthday, Lynda (perasan, they said.) and I give all the thanks to you, Mummy...& daddy, you are important too...love you guys...hehe~ ^^

Birthday is over! But the spirit never ends.

Belated X'mas Greetings

Merry X'mas, Everyone!!!
This year, it's celebrated one day earlier in my church. All ballrooms were booked on the 25th.
But it was still as fun as any other year. My x'mas wish is to get to celebrate x'mas in my church every year.
^^ Besides CNY, this is my favourite celebration. Haha~My cute little sister was in the choir & youth dance group. So cute~lazy to post photos now...later la~
Just love x'mas!!! For those who forgot the reason why we are here, this is the day to refresh thy mind & rethink what had happened 2008 years ago. Well, normally humans feel more on special occasions. Although it has been argued the 25th is not the exact date, it's not the date that counts, it's the thought behind. Merry X'mas to everyone, & happy birthday to the father high above. ^^
