A Late Wish

It's the 3rd, kind of late, I know.
Well, I've been too laid back spending time at home.
Didn't even bother going online.
When I came back & finally browsed through everyone's blog about a new year, I got a bit excited.
I didn't really bother about starting a new year.
Starting to feel that new year is really nothing.
Maybe I didn't spend it with the right crowd.
Or I think I might have been too hard on myself on new year eve as I spent the countdown discussing a very big possible crisis in my church with Nian.
No new year resolution or whatever. Nothing I care too much this year except I wish I could be with my family all the time.
With the 4th anniversary coming up in about a week's time, I should really pressure myself to think of something sweet to do. Arrrghhh, the numbness.

Like Kung said, last year was a hell of a roller coaster.
& I feel it's way too far back from the present.
Like it has been ages yet it was last August that I just had my convocation.
The Viva that scared the hell out of me which made me think I wouldn't pass my thesis.
The last semester, the finals, & the jobs.
The patch up, the interviews & all the learnings about new stuffs in order to survive in the city. The series, the sitcoms, the crazy nights, it all feels so far away.
& now thinking back, it's all feeling so meaningless. I think this is what you called WASTED.
What's youth without all these trash, right?

Jane, I love your new year spirit & Kung, how I envy about you having new year resolutions!
Luckily, being easily inspired, I would like to propose my own resolutions.
1. Going somewhere overseas for a vacation with the boyfriend or family or altogether which is not very possible.
2. Have found a job that I truly love with good pay.
3. Spend a more meaningful year. (Don't ask me to define)
4. Be more like myself.

So, what the heck, everyone? It's New Year!!
Love yourself even more this year & love others like how you love yourself.
I know it's not possible but try harder!
Give seats to the elders, don't spit on the road & don't sit on seats for disabled & pregnant women!
Donate your clothes, smile more, do more charity & use less plastic bags!
Love life, everyone.
