The General Specific

By Band of Horses

If the trials at hand are really getting you down
We had a close call, I didn't even see it.
Then another one, I hardly believed it at all.
What the writers say, it means shit to me now.
Plants and animals, we're on a bender when it's 80 degrees.
The end of December, What's going on?
Only for you and me.

When the showing up ends, who's going back to the south,
Where hungry necks that I know, and runnin'
The blender in a lightning storm, are disguised as a blessing I'm sure.
Growing up here, there comes a fork in the road,
Pants have gotta go, we're on an island on
The fourth of July, it looks like the tide is going home.
In time I'd find a little way to your heart,
Down to the general store for nothing specific,
Gonna wash my bones in the Atlantic shore
Only for you and me.

Everyone is trying to be clear about everything in their lives.
Okay, maybe some not.
As I agree with the fact that some things are better left unknown.
I, on the other hand, at most times, insist to be clear about everything if possible.
I don't like to be left like an idiot. But I know when to pull over if I'm sure the truth is better left undiscovered & causes me only harm if otherwise.
Basil calls me paranoid. I say, I'm just very specific.
I don't want to defend myself. But maybe it's occupational disease.
Particular in words.
I need to be descriptive. Defensive, I'm beginning to admit.
I don't like to be misunderstood.
Unless I don't care about what some might think.
In the end, I would just call myself emotionalist.
Sometimes, I'm a fatalist.
Overall, optimist.

And I've found out the compliment I get the most.
My smile.
And I just want to make earth a better place.
Too bad I'm an emotionalist.
And I love violence. Only in movies.
And I believe in cartharsis theory.
And I'm glad, to some people, I am actually influential.
Carol, especially. I always try to make her see the world the way I do.
And I always succeed.
Enough with these related sentences to the title.
Here you go, some general specifics of me.
Good night.
Thank you God, for everything.

P.S. : I miss you so much, baby sis. Everytime I'm on the phone with her, she always asks me when I'm going home. I promised I'd go back after final exam and yet I'm still here.

A Notable Saturday

Woke up at 9am this morning.
The first thing I do is of course, switching on my lappie.
And I went on Facebook.
Saw a friend request.
Someone I totally didn't expect.
But at first sight, I recognised the name.
The first guy ever who confessed to me, haha, together with his silly photo.
He'll yell at me when he sees this. Hey, I still remember vividly how you looked like in the photo kay. *laugh*
Almost 10 years ago.
Phew, such a long time.
I am grateful & glad that we can be friends.
Said he couldn't sleep the night before & thought about his long lost friends.
And I'm in his list. Not bad ey, your memory?
Well, we were in the same class for 4 months, then I was transferred to different school.
Never thought he would remember me.
Told me I'm his first crush. That was cute. Okay, you asked me to be proud, right?
I am. Satisfied? :p
I don't have many friends from hometown.
Together with nice weather, this feeling is awesome.
Special & nice. People you never thought you could be friends with.
Some things, you just never saw them coming.
That's why when they do, they surprise you.
But I do hope the surprises I get are good ones.
But I understand we have to experience bad things as so to be grateful.

Dragged till I finally got hungry.
When I wanted to go grab something to eat, Cousie times two came out from her room.
Yup, time to go out as we planned.
Lunch in Prince, crazy big portion of XO sauce fried rice. It's enough for 2 meals.
Fixed 2 pairs of sandals at cobbler's.
Couz wanted to go check out cross-stitching materials.
Ended up not buying anything.
But being obsessed with buttons, I bought a few wooden buttons.
Haha, whatever, to sew on my plain shirts, or on my ribbon hair clips.
Or just for collection.
I have a thing for buttons. Clothings with a lot of buttons are irresistible.
Or bookmarks, scarfs, shoes, pouch, bags, anything you can sew buttons on.
*sparkling eyes of obsession*

While having lunch, he called to ask me out for movies.
Turned out to be a triple date.
Went to watch The Expendables in Tropicana.
Brutal & violent. My type.
Then, went for a drink.
Last event of the day, he dropped me in Tiara.
To attend Volker's farewell party.
Went back to Germany this morning.
Gosh, I got emotional.
Because he became emotional.
After we pushed him into the pool, he got up.
Standing there smoking coolly while we were all chatting around.
I noticed & went to him.
He said, "I'm just enjoying this moment. I'm happy that so many of you came.
I was thinking, if only 4 or 5 of you showed, I would think, what did I do wrong?
Then, so many of you showed up. That means I have made good friends here."
Gave everyone a nice big hug.
I introduced cheese related food to him.
Hence he named my eyes cheesy eyes.
You'll be missed, Volker.
Next farewell party should be Karen's, then Phillip's.
Met new friends, Louisa who can speak Mandarin crazily fluently, & Anne who is interested in unique designs. Girl stuffs. Ha. Introduced her Keller Homemade when she saw my tissue holder.
Told her Keller only makes one for each design. Onliest is the selling point.
Hehe, I brought you business!

Mood of the Day: I feel artistic today. Too much classic literature on my table.
And the weather reminds me of Charles Dickens.
Bah, humbug!

I'm grateful for what I have.
But I miss home a lot. I miss my piano sorely.

Black Friday

In fact, I didn't even remember it was Black Friday.
For me, it's just an ordinary day. Except it's Friday.
As usual, catch up time.
Nothing much happened. I don't remember as well.
I think too much, that's why I don't remember much as well.
Darn, I should really write more. Too little time. No excuses.
Yes, Lynda, if you spend less time watching your series.
I have loads of pending tasks & wants I haven't attended to.
My life ought to be more meaningful.
A few occasions occurred that allowed me to redress my karma a bit.
Helping old lady with her heavy bags & still felt bad because that's the most I could do.
Lending extra hands when you're not asked to do so.

Attended church, the one I mentioned earlier.
Finally, a church I'm completely comfortable with.
There was this aunty there, superb cute & generous.
Think I'll stick for a while.
Hope that I can make some changes to it.
Less organised but more passion.
They sing louder, they read louder, & in unison too.
And the roti canai near the church is the best I've tasted. :p

Received my handmade bookmark from Keller.
Love it, I'm such an obsessive collector.
Just don't let me start liking something.
I can't stop until I get bored.
That will take years.
Discovered an accessory shop.
The aunty recognised me when I went for the second time.
Went there the third time yesterday after I learned that Xcessbook is celebrating their 3rd year anniversary & they're offering free 3 year membership when you purchase fifty bucks & above, when at normal time, it's a hundred.
So, I asked, "After 3 years, how much will it cost to renew?"
"It's free." ( speechless...)
Fair, I get it.
They're concerned as they still don't know the business prospect.
Well, anyways, I don't mind paying membership renewal fee anyways.
It's a nice place to get books.
Especially classic literature.
First, not many read classic literature.
I mean, compared to modern literature.
& because classic literature somehow has not much value, I mean, not many appreciate it.
So, the books are darn lot cheaper.
Bought Beowulf & Dracula. *big grin*
Met Ah Bee there & managed to hit the amount, thanks to her & her colleague.
Because I didn't have anything else I wanted to buy.
Those books I'm hunting, not available there.
And I got my member card!!

Went for another interview in KL.
The job title & description are exciting but the daily tasks are robotic.
Much higher pay, but in KL.
That area is a horrendous place.
Not to mention the jam after work.
Still deciding whether it's worth the sacrifice.
Can't imagine what time I'll reach home & my dinner. Gone.
Anyways, I don't think I did well. Wouldn't be short-listed, I guess.

Lastly, I would really like to shout out.
"I hate Twilight."
I've been wanting to say this for a long time.
It's a stupid love story no matter how many eye candies there are.
Hate it when everyone said, "Why? I thought everyone likes the story. Especially you girls."
I admit there's a special reason why I hate Twilight so much.
Not avoiding the obvious ground that it reminds me of someone I think I will never stop hating despite the effort to suppress the intense abhorrence.

Not to worry, peeps, I won't hate you if you like Twilight, or obsessed with it.
It's personal, I know.
Cheers.

Add on: I left out an important event!
It's the Left Hander's Day today!
I never remembered to celebrate this day.
I will starting next year.
I'm proud to be a left-hander.
With this, I present the links to:-
Famous Left Handers
One hundred Famous Left Handers
Famous Left Handed People
I didn't know They were Left-Handed!

And I found out Hugh Jackman is a left hander. So is Robert DeNiro! *love*
And erm, Lady Gaga. Erm. Yea.

Kay, Garfield eyes. Buenos noches.

10 Days After

Let's do some catch up.
Recap.
Last post, Inception, Saturday 17th.
Went to watch Inception again on Sunday 18th.
This is what you do when you have a lot of dates. Just kidding.
Played my first in a lifetime bowling.
Didn't feel that bad. I don't do sports.
And I won. They always say, first time luck.
Then, meet up with Ooi Noo Yin & David that night.
She's going to be very busy after this, no time to hang out.
David is still....jobless & content as he is.
Was late for bed.

Then, another normal routine week, with some excitement I feel for convocation.
And happy because had another week of half day training.
Survived one week without internet access.
Stupid Streamyx did not inform us about resetting the main cable.
And how many times we called, they said it's technical issue until Saturday, we got the right story.
The bus is getting punctual recently.
I hope it will stay this way.

Last Saturday, watched Shanghai.
Movies of historical events are to me irresistable.
War, Japanese Occupation, the sacrifice, the spirit of resistance party, the old time culture.
Recommended if you are to share taste as mine.
And I'm kind of annoyed that this Google Chrome is showing error of the word "Movies"
Red underline, there! Again!

What did I do on Sunday?
Oh! I went to church again.
The grand church which practises the speaking of tongues.
Then, some Negro guys from same church with BO were trying to make romantic approach.
Had to call LPT to look like I was busy on phone to stop them from attempting to get my phone number again.
Realised I miss serving in church. My eyes were watery that day.
I'm still struggling, to find the right path. I never doubted whether I'm capable of being involved in such noble cause. I know He'll use me to lighten this world.

And that night, daddy told me Pastor Lau, the one who founded my hometown church is now in Puchong.
Dad gave him my number and they contacted me today.
Going to have dinner with them tomorrow.
Excited about it.
They're going to send me back & see how far it is from the church.
Will then arrange to fetch me to church.
Fingers twisted, things will work out.

Took leave today to settle convo bills & stuffs.
Went to watch Despicable Me in Tropicana.
The minions and the 3 girls are so cute.
I asked him a stupid question. Are the minions planktons or potatoes?
Hahaha~I was responded with a glare, in a nice way.
I still think it's funny.
The movie was erm partly funny. Not too bad.
Before movie started, I got a call from Cosmotots.
I'm shortlisted. Yay.
Going for first interview this Saturday.
The receptionist was rude when she was on the phone.
Sanguinely things will sail the way round, with a good strong wind.
Not saying my life now sucks.
But reaching office when the sun just starts rising doesn't feel pleasant at all.
I feel like an answering machine now.

Picking up some extra reading now.
Aiming to finish all my books.
Know it's going to take ages.
Decided that it's nicer to read the book after you watch the movie.
The actor chosen for the character of Sherlock Holmes is perfect, yea I know it doesn't match with the outlook he's supposed to have as in the book, but come on, eye candies kay.
This is overwhelming, making the book much more delightful to read ey.
I'm reading The Best Of Sherlock Holmes now.
So, you can guess.
Robert Downey Jr. & Jude Law.
Takes me longer time to finish even a page, as I have to stop to imagine every scene.
I am grateful I have solid imagination.
But I'll be fair, Sir Conan Doyle is a good writer.

Half way through watching 500 Days of Summer.
Just paused when a girl said "I always want to write, I majored in English, you know. But what can you do with that?"
Ehem, yea.
Went to chat with couz, came back to finish this post.
Time for bed again.
And I don't like Zooey Deschanel.
I don't know why they always take her.
She always has the same facial expression, same tone, same hair, for goodness' sake.
Feels like a dead, confused old soul.
Always with the character "I'm so messed up. I don't know what I want in life, or out of life."
I guess that is the attraction?

Okay. Enough for today.
It's pay day tomorrow!
Nighty.

P.S: I'm going to pick up my old hobby again. Stay tuned.

Inception

Decided if I've watched a movie & I want to blog about it, I'll just put the movie title as the blog title.
And noticed that the last 3 posts including this one are all about movies.
Here I am, feeling sleepy & waiting for my hair to dry as I don't believe in hairdryers.
Unless I really need it, but since it's Friday, so....arrrggghhhh, whatever...

Went to watch the movie with colleagues & Looyin joined us as well, but it wasn't me who invited her. Spare you the details.

Writer, Producer & Director: Christopher Nolan

Okay.
A simple comment.
You can never resist Leonardo.
No matter how fat he's got, how old & wrinkled he's become.
He never fails you.
This movie is a Must Watch.
2 & a half hours.
And I did not feel time was flying at all.
It's plain good.
Satisfaction.
And no wonder Adriadne looks so familiar, she's Katherine Kitty Pryde in X-Men: The Last Stand. Her name is Ellen Page.
If Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a British, I'll love him more. A lot more.

I don't want to be a spoiler here.
So, chill.
Seriously, watch it.
I'm going to watch it again.
No matter I want to or not.
But I want to.
And paying just 8 bucks to watch this is an insult to the movie.
Not making a statement that I'm too rich to pay extra.
So, don't try to be sarcastic & brainless to shoot me about this.
You know how it should be interpreted.

Watch Inception.
Rotten tomatoes rated it 8.1/10.
Underrated.

How nice if I get to control my dreams as well.
Messing around with my subconscious mind sounds fun too.

The Last Station

Another classic movie.
Story about the writer of War And Peace, Count Leo Tolstoy.
A Russian man who was highly respected around 1910 being a celebrated writer & philosopher.

Michael Hoffman is the director.
The rating is 6.8/10 in rotten tomatoes.

Leo Tolstoy, by Christopher Plummer, was seen as a saint during that time.
A movement was named after him, whose basic tenets are brotherly love & world peace through pacifism, & a denouncement of material wealth & physical love.
His wife, Countess Sofya, by Helen Mirren, was all against him & his disciples.
She strongly believed they were trying to plot him to give up the family property.
She insisted on a will that will bring wealth & profit to the family as Chertkov was arranging & persuading Tolstoy into authorising the negation of his work's copyrights & put his writings in public domain.
Valentin Bulgakov, hired by Chertkov, was supposed to help carry out & write down the details of the process, stuck in between as he did not know which to follow anymore-his orders or his heart.
They believed Tolstoy was supposed to be devoted to the good of mankind & that only.
Pacifism.

The funniest scene in the movie was when Tolstoy's chief follower, Vladimir Chertkov could not accept when Leo killed a mosquito.
They believe in every living being's right.
Freedom of desire & will.
Crazy guys are all celibates & vegetarians.

Finally Tolstoy could not take his wife, Countess Sofya's ridiculous & extreme attitude.
Left to seek for peace in his final days.
The countess attempted to kill herself when she found out.

Tolstoy died in a room near a train station Astapovo, in southern Russia.
Married for 48 years & still in love with each other.
The Russian senate awarded Countess Sofya the copyrights of Tolstoy's work when he died.
Valentin Bulgakov, acted by James McAvoy, the guy in Wanted, roled as Tolstoy's private secretary, experienced love for the 1st time in his life.
Did not know how love & lust felt like.
Fell in the love with Masha, a brave & rebellious woman in the movement.
Became a famous & outspoken speaker, spreading Tolstoy's beliefs.

Watching this type of movie is always decent.
Everyone was so strong-minded, persistent & brave enough to love & die.
As if they hold on to a single belief for their whole lives & always seem to think it's worth everything they could have lost in the world.
How do you know when it's enough & you know you can't stop fighting?
When you close your eyes & know everything you're fighting for is about to worth nothing.
What is left to make you feel you're being seen?
When everyone thinks you're so perfect & invulnerable.
And you wish, there's something more you could do, without knowing the world might be ending.
When social equity & peace for mankind were the only concerns.

When you think the last station is never reachable.
Until you think your life has been worth living.

The Eclipse

Yea, I went to watch The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
I never liked Twilight.
But someone insisted, for god knows why.
It was a midnight show. So, missed some part of it as I fell asleep, so did he.

Bah, I don't like Twilight for a very particular strong reason.
And this 3rd one just proves me right again.
Even though I don't object the idea of loving two or even three persons at the same time.
But so intense & passionate.
Hate that she's so confused. & both Edward & Jacob are fine with her being so.
As if they can share a wife.
Still watched all 3 of them so far as they were kind of listed as "Must See".
At least this is still better than the second one. Actually, I can't really tell.

This was a bad experience.
I'm never going to watch any movie in 1U TGV anymore.
The toilet sucks, the service sucks.
The seating sucks.

And the audience.
Those Chinese chics at the back kept commenting on the scenes.
The Indian lady beside who came with the husband & son has a weak heart.
Just a shake on Bella's car & Edward came in caused her to scream & say "Oh my god" a few times. Old drama queen.

And the 3 Chinese in front kept chitchatting & laughing when nothing was funny at all.
For goodness' sake, even though I did not really enjoy it, it was still a fucking love story.
They looked like they paid to come laugh at the movie.

And half way through the movie, someone at the back left was snoring perfectly loud.
And also those brainless parents who brought their children to come watch Twilight midnight show & ended up lecturing them because they would not sit still.
Some started crying.
Some Chinese lady was scolding her kid as if we could not hear her.
Low lives.
Should learn all over again to spell the word "respect".

Basically Bella was telling both Edward & Jacob she loves them.
But she told Edward, "I love you more."
Wow, sounds just right & enough.

Confused, for the confused to love.

Sorry, if you think I know nothing, because I did not read the books.
I don't know the right way to judge & criticise this love story.
Well, I guess the love that one would be willing to die for the one he loves is the noblest no matter how messy & twisted the chain is.
I noticed people commenting on the corny lines. Wonder why, but I did miss all that.
I was not paying close attention to the lines at all, except those which made me laugh.
It was funny when Edward & Jacob competed against each other for Bella.
Just how they fight, not the idea of it.
Agreeing with Fiona, the wolves are really cute & can make good pets. Haha~
The point is I don't feel the love, nor the vampirism.

You have fun being confused. Take all the time you need.
Whoever you think I mean.

F.I.F.A.

Finally It's Friday Again.
Wonder how long I'll appreciate Friday until I finally get numb of it.

I kept getting all those weird dreams these few days.
All the crazy ideas in my mind.

What a remarkable Friday.
Met with LRT break down for the 1st time.
Waited for more than 1 hour with Thasha.

Called Wan to go out for dinner, knew it was going to be an endless wait.
Saw Chan Yann there, caught up a little bit.
Saw Karen, on the way to meet her parents who came all the way from Germany to visit her.
Added someone I met in LRT on facebook, because we are state neighbours. Ha~
Saw someone I think was from high school who asked me what's going on.
Wonder if she remembers me.
I have vivid memory, because she might be one of the anti-lynda group members.

It's Saturday now, because I was too sleepy & tired to write last night.
Raining very heavily.
Feels calm & weird at the moment.
Was in my room for the whole day.

Got my package from Dad, convocation form.
Finally I'm graduating.
Can't wait for that day to come.
Just excited to meet my parents & Corner Lot gang.
Just want dad & mum to feel proud & happy.
That finally their girl has got out from university into the big realistic society.

Kay, time to shower & out for movie.
I've got a date! *wink*

With Regrets

I just went through what I thought is the worst week of my life.
But after these 2 days, using the word "ill-fated" would be exaggerating.

When I reach Asia Jaya everyday, the sun just starts to rise.
That feeling, not good at all.
My pc jammed everyday last week, except the day I took mc & didn't go to work.
Missed the earlier bus twice, as the bus is NEVER EVER punctual.
I miss 628.
In order to ensure I can definitely get on the earlier bus, so that I will not be late for work.
I have to be waiting down there at 6.25am
& I know one minute can make a huge difference.

I was so eager to blog about how hapless my last week was.
But now, I've forgotten what happened.
This is a good thing.
I think, this is how we grow up.
By getting used to all of this.

This week, I'm almost numb, & demotivated.
I was never motivated, at least not more than 2 hours.
I don't care how much they pay me, I just don't care.

I regret that I didn't take a nice long break before starting to step in working life.
Even though I kind of hate my job, I didn't regret taking it.
At least I learned something. Whatever.

I have to say.
The airline's customer service sucks to the max & back to the bottom.
A customer called to ask if we've received her letter concerning her refund.
She said she wrote in last month.
Guess what I had to tell her?
Me: I don't know anything about it. You have to wait for them to reply.
Her: But how long do I need to wait? & how do I know if they've received my letter?
Me: Because this is under another department. So, I really don't know anything.
I guess you just have to wait. Or if you're worried, you can write them another letter.
Or fill up our customer online feedback form.

It's like telling them to write in as many letters as possible to ensure they have got it through.
We are not allowed to give any phone number or whatever direct contact method.
They have to call, then we'll put a note, so that people at our end will get back to them within don't know how many working days, which most of them never did.

How splendid it must be.
That she did not get angry! Ha~
Well, I guess Australians are always with the huge range & big waves of emotions.
Not Singaporeans.

Kay, too tired for today. Nights.

A small letter of Confession

Didn't mention earlier that I've moved to a new place.
Everything is nice here.
The pool is big and gorgeous, even though I don't go swim.
Tiara is still better in the aspect of security.
But here feels more like home.
Though there is a rather unfriendly housemate.
Who is a UTAR admin worker. In PB block.
That explains her coolness.
Even when you say hi right at her face, she won't greet you back.
Talk about coincidence.
I have my own room, which is the best part.
Living with my distant cousie.
Her mom & mine are very close, as both of them clarified.

I miss home.
What I love here are shopping malls, nice restaurants & cafe.
Good food and beautiful shoes.
Also good money.
Other than that, there is nothing else left for me to miss this place.
Except the unwanted memory.

What I miss in hometown are my very own home & church, & food I can't get here.
The simpleness and calmness.

Dad & mum are coming in August for convocation.
Finally I'm graduating.
Well, I can make good money there too.
But I have nowhere to spend them.
Down the drain with all my membership cards.

At least I have a very valid reason to stay here still.
The lifestyle.
I don't know how to give up Delicious, GSC, Padini, Vincci, Faceshop, Diva,
New York fish and chips, Walk In, Greenbox, Kim Gary, endless list.
and all the outlets Adeline has tempted me with.

I have another confession to make.
The distant cousie has been asking me to go to church with her.
But because of my upside down life, I'm not ready to see God.
Sometimes I'm really a perfectionist.
I want to be in good condition to see God.
Maybe some will think this is just an excuse.
But it's not.
I can't see Him unless I know I feel right enough.
I have a lot of worries which have been circling around in my head for weeks.
I have to settle them before I can go to church.
And I feel guilty not going.
I miss SIB.

I seriously need to read more books.
My writing skills has gone worse.
Gone all my inspiration.

Just when you thought

I'm one of the biggest fan of Hong Kong dramas.
Some people call this housewife's hobby.
But I disagree.
I don't care if this is the hittest hobby. Or you would call me someone with no life.
I don't watch korean or taiwanese dramas, not that I stereotype.
Arr, nevermind, no point explaining myself.

To the point.
I've just finished watching the end of one HK drama.
The Mystery of Love.

I'm going to keep this as one of my collection.
Even though they might have cried a little bit too much.
They just feel so real.
That's why I always love OST.
Maybe I'm emotional today.
I always don't let myself to cry watching movies or series.
Especially about love.
I find it very lame & typical.
I don't want to be any other girl.
But I'm still a girl after all.

The ending made my tears gushing like fountain.
Exaggerating.
But I felt really bad.

I will cry for Love.
For the loss or for the gain.
All for the heartfelt.
If it's barely unbearable.
If it's strongly felt.

If you have never been through the pain, you won't feel.
I'm moved. Because I don't know if I'll ever love again.
How will I ever feel like loving someone again?
It feels so good too that it's a good ending.
And you just imagine they're going to have a happily ever after
though you know it's not real.

I almost swore to myself I'd never talk about love in my blog.
I hate people who do that.
But you just don't deny it alright.
Love is the most powerful thing on earth.
How can you ever resist love?

Consider yourself lucky that you get a second chance.
Not many get that.
That's why I don't understand why some can let go of people they love.
Thinking they're going to be there for you forever.

I always love a quote.
Love like you've never been hurt before.

I think I need a long break.
The heartache.
The hatred.
Feels like forever.
So will Love, as I would wish.

Love like you've never been hurt before.
Love like you'll never be hurt anymore.

Something not Lasting

Got an first official full time job in life.
Working with Australian airline.
I must say, every budget airline sucks.
Wonder if Air Asia is any better.
Maybe not.
The more policies there are, the more yellings there are.
But nothing is perfect.
I just hate the tight schedule.
Anyway, I think I'm going to quit soon.

This is going to be a long self discovery road.
I hate that when things you don't want to see or know the most, they keep showing up.
Numbers, even all the states' names give me goosebumps.
I'm not proud of myself that I can remember the agent code, the state & city codes.
Even if my Geography improves.

This is where you learn to handle situations.
By learning how to lie confidently.

And what I hate most is not Price Beat Guarantee, it's when there're flight delays or cancellation.
That morning, you'll receive a lot of emails notifying every staff about them, together with all the flight numbers, origin & destination.
That is when you know it's going to be a long day.
All the mess. All the whys.

Some people just don't get it.
No matter how many times you try to explain, they don't fucking listen.
And after you got to know that S'poreans are not allowed to curse, you just wish every call is made by them.

And I'll never ever do a part time job again.
Unless they pay me by the end of the day.

Really miss home.
To forget about everything here.
Living in the same city with people who caused you pain.
It is not pleasant at all.
What you can do is imagining yourself killing them over & over again in your head.
The most brutal ways you can think of due to a hobby of watching horror movies.
Just be impressed of yourself that you can eat while watching the neck being cut off & blood panting out.
What good can it do?
They're still alive.
Then, you started praying, wishing they would meet with an accident or something.
Whatever, just die.
Pray hard squeezing your eyes wishing that day will come soon.
Then, the only thing that makes you feel better is you know their lives are messy.
And you know, they are suffering.
And you just have a feeling they're going to die soon.
This is how my optimism serves me just fine.

I have all reasons to believe that I'm being disturbed by some psycho lady
whom I met a few times while waiting for bus.
She talks to herself with weird expressions and she wears a cartoon pink watch.
She used her phone light to flash at me.
Fucking crazy bitch.
I feel like killing her as well.
Talk about anger management & self defence.
I've got a stun gun.

The Return & The Rose

Hi peeps, I'm back. For a persistent long period, I hope. Fingers crossed.
Really missed blogging. I shall begin again with one of my favourite songs lately.
Yea, I know. Many of you hate Westlife. They are such copycats, dah dah dah.
But their voices, just strike your heart. Too many times.
With love & spirit. From me. Good will.

Some say love it is a river
That drowns the tender reed
Some say love it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed

Some say love it is a hunger
An endless, aching need
I say love it is a flower
And you, it's only seed

It's the heart afraid of breaking
That never learns to dance
It's the dream afraid of waking
That never takes the chance

It's the one who won't be taken
Who cannot seem to give
And the soul afraid of dying
That never learns to live

When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong

Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring, becomes the rose.
